In partnership with Oxford Counselling and Training Centre, we are pleased to offer face-to-face CPCAB counselling courses at Levels 2, 3 and 4 from September 2026 in Oxford, providing robust, ethical, face-to-face training for those beginning or continuing on their counselling journey.
Our courses are suitable for anyone interested in developing counselling skills or exploring a future career as a counsellor. It may appeal to people who are naturally drawn to listening and supporting others, those working in helping professions, or individuals looking for meaningful personal and professional development. Our training is grounded in strong ethical practice and a commitment to inclusivity. We aim to create a respectful and supportive learning environment that welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, including neurodivergent learners and those with disabilities. We are committed to promoting accessibility and will work with learners to support individual access needs wherever possible.
If you are curious about counselling but unsure whether it is the right step for you, you are not alone. Many people begin their training simply by wanting to explore the skills and see where the journey might lead.
Face-to-face training offers something online learning cannot fully replicate. Counselling is relational work, and being in the room allows you to notice body language, tone, and emotional shifts that are often missed online. This creates richer skills practice, deeper feedback, and better preparation for real counselling work.
The CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body) is the UK’s leading awarding organisation specialising in counselling training. Their qualifications are widely recognised and respected within the counselling profession. CPCAB courses focus on developing ethical, skilled and self-aware practitioners who are prepared to work safely and effectively with clients.

Level 2 in Counselling Skills is a starting point for anyone interested in learning the foundations of counselling. The course introduces core listening skills, empathy, and self-awareness, while exploring ethical and respectful ways of supporting others. It is suitable for those curious about counselling or wanting to develop stronger communication and people skills, or looking to support their personal and professional development.
Level 3 in Counselling Studies builds on the skills developed at Level 2 and deepens understanding of counselling theory and practice. Learners explore different counselling approaches, develop greater self-awareness, and strengthen their ability to reflect on helping relationships. It prepares students for professional training at Level 4 and develops from Level 2 into a much deeper understanding of counselling theory, self-awareness, and the therapeutic relationship.
Level 4 in Therapeutic Counselling is the professional training stage for those wishing to practise as counsellors. Our approach integrates humanistic, existential and CBT-informed perspectives, helping learners develop strong therapeutic skills and ethical awareness. The course includes supervised client work and emphasises reflective practice, preparing students to work safely, thoughtfully and responsibly with clients.
