Compassionate Counselling for Individuals, Couples & Children
Anxiety can show up as constant worry, tension, or always feeling on edge. Do you find yourself waking in the night or having the same thoughts over and over? Counselling offers a calm, steady space to understand what is feeding the anxiety, make sense of your reactions, and find ways to manage it.
Work and life stress can build up quietly, leaving you feeling under pressure, overwhelmed, or stuck in the rutt. Counselling can help make sense of what is demanding too much of you, and find ways to regain balance, clarity, and resilience in daily life.
Trauma can stay in the body and mind, shaping how safe you feel, how you react, and how you relate to others. It may leave you on edge, disconnected, angry, having bad dreams or feeling overwhelmed. We can support your recovery through therapy in a slow and safe environment.
If you are struggling with relationships, people pleasing, connecting with others, or finding yourself feeling angry or alone, counselling can help you understand these patterns, clarify what you want and need, and support you in becoming a more confident, authentic, and happy person.

At Abingdon Counselling, we offer an inclusive, calm, confidential space where you can talk things through and make sense of what is happening for you. We work with adults and young people, offering both short-term and longer-term open-ended counselling. Sessions are available face-to-face or online, depending on what feels most appropriate for you.
