Please do NOT attend counselling sessions or the centre if you are showing ANY symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has symptoms in the last 14 days. Again, please ensure you let me know. Please then follow Govt. advice on self-isolating.
Please be aware that due to the risk of infection there are some considerations that both myself and my clients will need to take into consideration when attending face to face sessions. We will discuss this some more before the session and that will also be a time for you to ask any questions.
Please keep yourself safe by following govt. guidelines and by following social distancing measures where possible at all times.
If the client is experiencing ANY symptoms of being unwell then it is important that they let me know as soon as possible. We may have been in contact in the days before hand. As a counsellor it is my job to keep everyone safe, and I can only do this with open and honest communication. I will strive to do the same. Always seek medical advice by ringing 111 or your GP.
Please wait in the car or try to be as close to your appointment time as possible to avoid sitting around in the waiting. We are trying to avoid people using this space and the main doors will be locked until we collect you at your appointment time. Clients are being staggered by counsellors and this is to help minimize contact with others.
The water dispenser will NOT be in use so please bring your own water should you need it.
Please try and keep to the 2 meter distancing rule at all times.
Please DO use the hand sanitizer that is in the waiting area when arriving.
For our safety the counselling room and door handles/light switches will be cleaned between sessions where client contact has been made.
Govt. advice is to where face masks at all times when in an enclosed space. I am happy to both wear a mask or refrain from wearing a mask. This can be assessed on an individual basis and is something I will discuss with you before the session to find out your preference. Lots of communication is non-verbal, and facial expressions can be difficult to read from behind a mask.
If you have any requests or considerations that you would like to discuss then please do mention them to me and I will do my very best to accommodate them if they are viable and practical.
Please follow these guidelines and help keep both yourself, and our therapists and their clients safe. Thank you.
